2. Hosting

This website is hosted as part of GMX Managed WordPress. The provider is 1&1 Mail & Media GmbH, Brauerstraße 48, 76135 Karlsruhe, Germany. When you visit our website, the data listed in section 3 is processed on the host’s servers. We have a data processing agreement with the host pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing our website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Server log files

When you access this website, the server automatically records information transmitted by your browser. This includes:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of access
  • Page or file accessed
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
  • Browser and operating system used

This data is technically necessary to display the website and to ensure its stability and security. It is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are deleted automatically after a short period unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.

4. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

5. Contacting us by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (for example your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry) in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Cookies

This website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising purposes. WordPress only sets technically necessary cookies when administrators log in to the protected area of the website. The legal basis is Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

7. Fonts

This website uses the Poppins font. The font files are stored locally on our server. No connection to Google or other third-party servers is established when you visit the website.

8. No analytics or tracking services

We do not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services such as Google Analytics on this website.

9. Links to external websites

Our website contains links to external services, for example to our profile on LinkedIn. Only when you click such a link are you redirected to the provider’s website, where the provider’s privacy policy applies. No data is transferred to these providers beforehand.

Within the scope of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to:
